With 30 years of business services under his belt, Grant has extensive experience within the property, engineering, brewing and shipping industries. He specialises in management accounting, business development and tax compliance. Grant sits on the board of a number of large private companies, and was one of the founding directors of All Black Promotions Ltd. He is also a member of the St Cuthbert's College Board of Trustees.

Greg has over 25 years of tax structuring and consulting experience, including 20 years providing advice to New Zealand businesses and 8 years practicing tax in China, Hong Kong and New York. Greg prides himself in being able to communicate difficult tax law and regulations into easy to understand and practical advice, and to continually add value to his clients.

Jennie has over 15 years experience providing assurance services both in New Zealand and United Kingdom. She has worked with a wide range of clients from small to medium-sized organisations through to multi-national companies. Jennie has experience with clients operating across a diverse range of industry sectors including: education; service organisations; transportation; not for profits; education; retail and wholesale; manufacturing; and building and construction. She enjoys working with senior management to identify areas within organisations that are not operating effectively and efficiently, and providing workable and best practice solutions.

Kurt co-leads Crowe Horwath’s highly skilled audit team, providing valuable assurance services to clients. He has over 29 years experience providing Assurance Services to a broad range of businesses including: Small to large organisations; Publicly listed entities; Overseas owned companies. Kurt also carries out special investigations, due diligence assignments, internal control and systems reviews, documentation of risk management and other business consultancy work.

Paul has over 15 years experience providing audit and assurance services to a range of organisations, including small local entities to large multinational organisations. His experience also includes 5 years working in the United Kingdom. Paul has a passion for organisations that operate in the Not for Profit and Education sectors. In addition, he enjoys working with management to identify areas within their organisation which are not working effectively and efficiently in order to provide workable and best practice solutions.

Rachel is an experienced tax accountant with over 15 years experience in corporate tax issues, accounting for income tax under IFRS and cross-border transactions. She has significant experience in providing taxation services to a wide range of clients from small businesses to large multinational organisations. She also has multi-sector expertise including: agribusiness, infrastructure and manufacturing. Rachel has specialist expertise in the following areas: accounting for income tax using IFRS; tax issues associated with cross-border transactions; accounting for income tax; and corporate income tax management.

Leicester has played a significant role in the accounting field both in Auckland and throughout New Zealand.  He predominantly provides comprehensive commercial and tax advice for trusts and medium to large businesses.  Providing services and support for not for profits, is a true passion of Leicester’s.  He is particularly aligned to the healthcare sector, including dental and GP.  Leicester’s clients know they are in capable hands.  Through his experience, he appreciates the challenges a wide range of businesses face across a plethora of industries.  Leicester ensures every aspect of his work is delivered to the highest possible standard, leaving no stone unturned.

Martin's area of specialty lies in business improvement and management consulting, as well as taxation, strategic planning and structuring advice. He is closely involved with the fashion, manufacturing, property development, franchise and construction industries. Martin works to help clients improve the value and performance of their business through strategies in structuring, planning and financial analysis. With over 20 years' experience he also provides expert advice on valuation matters for acquisitions, dispute resolution and shareholder agreements.

Before she joined Findex in 2018, Katherine worked as a Group Financial Reporting Manager for Frucor Suntory, partnering with the business units in New Zealand and Australia. She was also the liaison (on behalf of the New Zealand and Australian business units) with shareholders on reporting and compliance matters. Katherine first aims to understand her clients’ objectives and partners with them to recommend commercial and pragmatic tax solutions.

Belinda works closely with businesses helping them to make more informed decisions and identify key areas to focus on. She specialises in helping clients to create wealth, through growth, increased profits, improved cashflow, protecting assets and assists them with establishing an exit plan for retirement. Belinda has worked with a variety of accounting packages and can advise organisations on which software will best suit their specific business needs. She has experience in the medical and health, hospitality, construction, wholesale and retail industries.

After graduating as an accountant and attaining a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University, Phil began his accountancy career in Dunedin, New Zealand. He then moved to London working for a major accounting firm for a few years, returning to New Zealand in 1987. Phil’s experience includes both business advice and governance, particularly as a board member and adviser to a wide range of public companies and Local Authorities. He is an accredited member of the Institute of Directors of New Zealand and holds a Public Practice Certificate CAANZ. Today, Phil is New Zealand’s Executive Managing Partner (EMP). As EMP, Phil is responsible for shaping and delivering the strategic direction of the Region which spans multiple geographic locations across New Zealand. He does this through: - Leadership of the Managing Partners in the growth strategy for the business. - Providing leadership to staff in order to achieve the established business and operational goals. - Supporting succession and development of those on the Advisor Pathway. Phil places high importance on building and maintaining strong relationships with his managers, teams and clients.

Jeremy has over 20 years’ experience in both the commercial sector and public practice. A chartered accountant, Jeremy has significant experience around strategy, governance, growth planning, change management, and professional sport. Jeremy has done extensive work for professional rugby organisations around the world involving restructure, governance, high performance and capital raising. He holds a number of directorships. In addition to the sporting sector, Jeremy has extensive expertise in the manufacturing and export sector. Jeremy is the Managing Partner for Auckland and Tauranga.

Craig joined Findex in 2017 through the acquisition of Wealth Works, where he had been providing clients with investment & financial advice since 2010. Prior to that Craig was advising clients of another Auckland based accounting firm. Craig is the Adviser Representative on the Findex New Zealand Investment Committee, ensuring that the voice of clients is well considered in all decisions. He is committed to providing well rounded financial advice for all clients. He takes a holistic approach and considers all elements of a client's financial and lifestyle situation before developing strategies to achieve their goals.

Before joining Findex, Ryan was in the transaction services team of a leading Big 4 firm, advising clients on the tax implications of large transactions. Ryan’s clients range from individuals and trusts to privately owned New Zealand companies and multi-national groups, to whom he provides a broad spectrum general tax matters, property tax, international tax, M&A/transaction services and trans-Tasman tax.

With over 18 years’ corporate finance experience, Chris provides specialist Corporate Finance advice specifically related to helping business owners and shareholders divest their companies through a contestable sale process. With a focus on mergers and acquisitions, Chris also provides a broad range of corporate finance services including valuation services, discount rate assessments, financial modelling and the undertaking of independent strategic reports for businesses, Government and councils. He also provides financial diligence services to investors and businesses looking to make acquisitions. Using insights developed through his time running his own business, Chris and his Auckland based corporate finance team help clients manage some of the strategic and day to day business challenges facing business owners. His knowledge is broad ranging and spans a variety of sectors including healthcare, food and beverage, tourism, aged care, nutraceuticals, manufacturing, transport and logistics and technology.

Throughout his career, he has particularly enjoyed working with entrepreneurs and investors to accelerate the growth of their businesses through capital raises and M&A opportunities.

Liana is a Business and Finance graduate and has recently started her career in financial planning and wealth management with Findex. She has had a longstanding interest in this field and has developed a genuine passion for it. Financial planning and wealth management are the fundamentals for good financial health, and helping people to capitalise on their full financial potential is Liana's goal for all her clients. She has a keen interest in behavioural finance as a growing field in the world of investment. Liana had a previous career in the real estate industry and has a strong focus on customer service, and understands the importance of exceptional customer experience. Having worked with a wide range of clients throughout her real estate career, she has the skills to analyse and address clients' needs. Liana is fluent in English, Armenian and Russian.

I grew up on a small beef farm in Port Albert, about an hour north of Auckland. My family moved to the area after my father took the role as Huntsman with the Kaipara Hunt. We farmed in a more traditional way with nurse cows and a 4 bale walk through cow shed and a love of horses and traditional English Hunting. Having returned from living overseas I now live in Kaipara Flats on a lifestyle block with my husband and 3 children. We have an array of animals to keep us busy as well as riding and competing our horses. I am heavily involved in my local community and am often found lending a hand at sports and horse events, as well as school and community functions. My career has predominately been in financial services, with over 15 years experience within insurance, business banking and commercial relationship management. I bring with me a holistic view on financial risk to help you get the advice and service you are looking for. Andrew is a Senior Adviser for the Commercial Lending and Finance team based in New Zealand, he provides advice on debt structuring and debt sourcing on wholesale transactions for Findex clients on both a transaction specific and ongoing basis. Andrew has 15yrs experience within the Corporate Finance teams of financial institutions based in New Zealand and the UK, he holds strong relationships throughout the financial industry including banks, 2nd tier lenders and private/finance.
